Long story short (cos wifi is limited): All flights to Europe were cancelled today which means I got to spend another day in the UAE. Let’s be posi hey!
So I took a cab into town where life improved phenomenally. Civilisation!! I’m convinced there is more money in this town than anywhere else in the world.
I spent the afternoon browsing a 1200 store mall called THE MALL of DUBAI. Largest in the world? Outside it is the tallest building in the world. Next to both is the largest light water fountain music show in the world.
And I haven’t been to the yacht mole yet..I’m sure the most insane yachts are parked there.
Decided to compromise personal standards a bit and had burger king for dinner. Bean burger, chips and coke.
So that’s been my day. Bought an awesome jacket for dbn winter, and a fred perry golfer shirt, wooo!
Tomorrow morning I might be at the airport hustling for a flight anywhere in europe, another nights accomodation, or cut my losses and head home..
Haven’t had a decent english conversation in awhile
